The Gazelles ready for the start
The big day is finally here for the 262 Gazelles at the Start Village of this new edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles.
Sun and smiles abound as participants wait impatiently for the flag to drop for the official start after a day of technical and administrative verifications.
As the day advances, the Start Village begins to fill up. Families, friends and onlookers mingle with the blue Gazelles vests and visit the different booths.
While they wait for the official start at 3:00, the teams set to work for Cœur de Gazelles. They form a long chain to move all the participants’ donations into the organization’s booth
Toys, clothing, shoes, books, medical supplies… Once again, the teams have risen to the occasion and have arrived with hundreds of donations. The Cœur de Gazelles team tackles the task of sorting them by category to facilitate their distribution. The donations will be handed out by the donations unit according to needs identified beforehand by the caravan’s volunteers.
The goal is to provide donations that meet communities’ real needs, transforming the simple act of donating into a partnership.
Once they have been sorted and repackaged, the donations will be transported to Morocco by DUPESSEY&CO, Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles partner and official transporter for Cœur de Gazelles.

DUPESSEY&CO, global transport and logistics solutions specialist, has partnered with Cœur de Gazelles.
This initiative is the brainchild of Dupessey President Carole and her sister Martine, both of whom took part in the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles in 2018. Through this experience, they discovered the actions of Cœur de Gazelles in the field. Touched by the organization’s efforts and by the work done by its volunteers, Carole quickly realized that she could provide valuable logical assistance to the medical caravan.
