Around the rally
Caroline BARANGER, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Events at HEC, had the honour of giving the start for the famous leg in the dunes.
The story between the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc and HEC began 5 years ago. “That year, a HEC professor and another person from the school did the Gazelles.” The partnership has lasted ever since. The school sponsors teams every year.
For this 29th edition, Volkswagen partnered with HEC to sponsor Elvire and Tania of Team 162 (Tania MOUMILOFF / Elvire BONDON-BOINET - HEC). The team got to know each other during the navigation and driving training sessions. One of them attended HEC and the other works there; what could be more natural than for the two women to represent the school at the Rallye?
“The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc represents a lot of values, like pushing one’s limits. For our part, we work a lot on gender parity in business, self-confidence: these are among the values of this rally.” HEC also supports Cœur de Gazelles by selling Cœur de Gazelles merchandise at HEC. Team 162 (Tania MOUMILOFF / Elvire BONDON-BOINET - HEC) also brought donations. “Everything that Marina VRILLACQ and the Cœur de Gazelles team do for the event is incredible.”
