Additional “challenges” for the Gazelles

Around the rally
The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc has an official points-based ranking as defined by the rules and regulations. But it also has other prizes that aim to encourage the 157 teams to do their best and take on other challenges…
First, there is the Euro4x4parts Beauty Car, which is awarded to the team with the best full-vehicle wrap. Every participating team can vote for the vehicle of their choice. The votes are collected at the bivouac throughout the competition, from March 21 to 28 inclusively. The winning team will receive 8,000 euros off their registration fees for next year’s 30th edition.
The Tsarine Challenge takes place on Leg 3, the most highly anticipated leg of the rally, in the Chegaga dunes. The team that wins this leg also wins the Tsarine Challenge.
The First Participation Challenge is awarded to the highest-finishing novice team (composed of two new Gazelles).
Finally, the MDJS Trophy is awarded to the winners of Leg 5 in each vehicle class. Event partner Tsarine will be on the start line to offer a small bottle of champagne to each team for a “Tsarine moment”.
