First night at the bivouac
NEJJACK - NEJJACK
Around the rally
The night was cool and windy, in keeping with a sense of adventure! And also extremely bright: the Gazelles were lucky enough to spend their first night at the bivouac under the spring equinox “supermoon”. A supermoon is a full moon that coincides with the closest that the Moon comes to the Earth in its elliptic orbit. You didn’t know that? Neither did they. Well, they do have a lot of other things to think about… “It’s been on my mind a lot, how we don’t know where we’re living any more, what we’re doing…” muses Team 133 (Natacha LAURENT / Olivia CHABUT - ATRIUM PAYSAGE). The night was short for some teams. And it’s not because they didn’t get to bed early: at 10 p.m., the bivouac was already calm and the sky sparkling with stars. Team 197 (Coralie LAVOIL / Marlène PEYRILLOUS - GMV Industrie) has adapted quickly: “I really like the tent. We’re in good shape to face the day.” Let’s hope tonight is less windy… “We’re going to be prepared this evening and put in earplugs just in case” declares Team 175 (Patricia JOLY / Sylvie GALLIOU - Didier Cisilotto).
