Summary
For the fifth consecutive year, the Ville de Nice is hosting the Start Village of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc. The village is now open on this Saturday March 16 in the prestigious Théâtre de Verdure facing the sea, under a brilliant blue sky.
Event partners such as GSF Propreté & Services Associés, Bosch Car Service, VINCI Immobilier, HEC, and La Ligue contre le Cancer des Alpes-Maritimes have set up their stands in the tents to welcome the public and, of course, the Gazelles.
At 10:30, the 131 teams will begin dropping off their donations for the rally’s humanitarian organization, Cœur de Gazelles, with the support of the organization’s partner Dupessey & Co. These donations will be distributed in the villages and communities along the rally’s route in Morocco.
The morning is sure to be hot and exciting with a live percussion group and Zumba. The highlight of the show will be musical performances by two Gazelles, Sophie Tapie and Nathalie Lechat, who will launch this 29th edition in song. After these activities, the Gazelles will enjoy a coffee break in the Malongo tent.
The 262 Gazelles will then assemble for a group photo before kissing their friends and families goodbye. At 3 p.m. come one and all to meet the Gazelles and bask in the festive atmosphere of the start village under the blazing Mediterranean sun!
