A tool I use every day

Alexandra has been a freelance nurse for 37 years. For her third Rallye, she is sponsored by  CBA Informatique. CBA provides software solutions for medical professionals, including an administration and billing management program. “It’s a tool I use every day. It was created by and for nurses, and does everything to make our lives easier. It’s a huge help.” Alexandra’s goal is to have her photo taken in every possible situation with the CBA Informatique plush toy mascot, which every participant received for this 29th edition. This year,CBA Informatiqueis also supporting the medical team with the CBA Informatique medical tent as well as the Rallye’s humanitarian organization, Cœur de Gazelles. “It really shows who they are, and the fact that they’re helping me as well is huge. For them to put their confidence in me is a great honour, I hope to live up to their expectations.”

Third time perfect

When Alexandra did her first Rallye in 2015 in 4X4 Class, she was looking to push her limits: “When I used to watch the Rallye on TV, on M6, and saw all those women taking on the desert, I wanted to do the same thing. There was something special about them. In our daily lives, we are all so caught up in routine. Between work and children, I wanted to take time for me, to centre myself and get back to basics. We women often neglect ourselves.” This year, Alexandra and her teammate are aiming for performance in SSV Class because, as the Gazelles say, there are the three Ps: “the first time is for pleasure, the second time for performance and the third time, for perfection. The goal is therefore to give it our all, and enjoy ourselves, and if we can make it to the podium, that would be great!”
